Should have written this in September.

I sorta kinda wanted to write back in September and just splurge a load of words on a page but I felt too insecure to do so & like it wasn’t worth it, so here I am 2 months later just going for it, if this isn’t your cup of tea I understand, but I feel like this is more genuinely me and I feel people, including myself, should write for themselves more. Jumping right into it I’ve felt like life has sorta held up for me, almost stopped, its going by super-fast around me but I feel frozen. It’s funny … Continue reading Should have written this in September.

Tuesday Talks – Quarantine: week 6

I can’t believe we’ve been self isolating for 6 weeks now, It’s gone by so slow and caused a huge amount of mental strain but we are getting through this, and it won’t last forever. Life before this lockdown wasn’t all that different for me to be honest, I didn’t leave the house much and things were all done relatively similar, but for some reason, being stuck in this lockdown has caused my anxiety to sky rocket & I’m pretty clueless as to why. All I can think of is that my weekly out and about has been cut, so … Continue reading Tuesday Talks – Quarantine: week 6

A decade gone by…

2010 – Final school year & start of college studying Forensics. 2011 – Lost a friend, changed colleges, spent some time in Manchester, generally just tried to figure myself out. 2012 – Still needed some time to figure myself out, changed colleges yet again and this time started studying animal care and agriculture, turned 18, went to Disney World, got a little more outgoing. 2013 – Still not having a clue what i’m doing, I left college, started looking for a job, started volunteering, visited London for the first time, started becoming a little more independent. 2014 – Met the … Continue reading A decade gone by…

Time to myself…

It’s always important to take time to yourself no matter who you are or what you do, alone time is a way of healing. My favourite way of spending some alone time to relax is a midnight bath, as soon as the child is relaxed and in deep sleep which is usually at midnight (anyone else have to fight their child hours after bedtime to get them to go sleep and stay in their bed?) I run the faucet, put some bubbles in, light the candles, put some Ed Sheeran on and get in. & I’ll sit there with just … Continue reading Time to myself…

Just a quick post…

Throwing out all my old school/college work for the first time in forever, I’ve held on to this paperwork for far too long now… Which made me realise I’ve been out of education now for 6 years why am I still holding onto this ‘junk’? It’s because this has been a constant reminder of my ‘failures’ and those times where I feel I didn’t try as hard as I should of and didn’t meet expectations of teachers, family members and friends. I never finished anything, I felt I was always having too much going on inside of my head, like … Continue reading Just a quick post…

January/February Wrap Up

Hello & Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening, wherever you are in the world. I’ve been a bit vacant lately, specifically since November-ish last year. I’ve not been coping so well since Christmas and my mental state has crashed slightly among other things going on so here’s a little recap of my year so far. Mental Breakdown…So i’ve started it off with a bit of a bombshell, I didn’t have the greatest end to 2018 or the best beginning to 2019. I was going through a shitstorm of different emotions and thoughts and since my grandad’s passing a few years ago, which makes every … Continue reading January/February Wrap Up
